Manufacturing Engineering Intern (Manufacturing)

Location: Bedford, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite role with office, field, and production-floor work

Pay range: $18.00–$37.00 per hour

What you will do

• Audit and update work instructions, routings, and bills of materials.
• Improve material handling methods and perform time studies.
• Develop fabrication and machining methods and analyze workstations and production cells.
• Support production personnel with technical guidance.
• Contribute to tooling, fixtures, plant layouts, and workstation design.
• Learn ERP manufacturing software and create documentation for new product launches.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical, or a related engineering field.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Ability to work in office, field, and production environments in Bedford, Pennsylvania.
• Ability to walk across shop floors, stand, climb stairs, lift up to 50 pounds, and work around varying temperatures and noise levels.
• Some positions may require U.S. person status due to export-controlled goods and technologies.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of JD Edwards.
• Exposure to Lean and 5S concepts.
• Experience with welding, machining, or fabrication.
• Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software.
