Workday Senior Analyst (Workday)

Location: Hybrid in the United States with defined in-person presence requirements; the posting identifies Rockville, MD and additional eligible locations including Boston, Chicago, Denver, Jericho, Jersey City, Philadelphia, New York, Tysons, Washington, Woodbridge, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and multiple U.S. states.

Salary: $112,300–$202,500 for Rockville, MD; ranges vary by U.S. work location.

What you will do

• Provide day-to-day Workday production support, issue resolution, operational maintenance, and functional guidance to HR partners.
• Support and optimize Workday Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Talent and Performance, and Recruiting modules.
• Partner with Product, HR, and Engineering to configure, test, and deploy business processes, security, reports, dashboards, integrations, upgrades, and feature releases.
• Lead UAT for enhancements, major implementations, and upgrades, including test scenarios, execution, defect tracking, and validation.
• Lead data cleansing and audit initiatives, identify root causes, implement preventive controls, and maintain accurate employee and organizational data.
• Support reporting, documentation, training, change management, and inbound and outbound data exchanges with third-party vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, plus at least seven years of relevant experience.
• At least three years of hands-on Workday configuration experience across Core HCM, Compensation, and Benefits, plus Recruiting, Talent, or Performance.
• At least three years of HRIS experience focused on Workday operational support, including EIBs, mass data loads, and data corrections.
• Experience supporting production environments, handling tickets, resolving operational and data issues, and managing HR data quality.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical writing skills, including the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with defined in-person presence requirements and occasional extended hours.

Nice to have

• Workday Pro Certifications in Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent, or Performance.
• Experience with UAT planning, execution, and defect management.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
