Engineer II-Quality

What you will do

• Support site-level quality systems, processes, and procedures for manufacturing operations.
• Analyze product, process, material, and non-conformance issues and drive corrective actions to completion.
• Review quality data and trends using Pareto charts, prepare management reports, and recommend improvements.
• Support customer returns, manufacturing review boards, internal and external quality audits, and supplier quality activities.
• Interface with suppliers and Engineering to resolve part-quality issues and improve drawings and requirements.
• Mentor employees across functional areas and communicate quality initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field and 2+ years of quality experience or training.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, diagrams, bills of materials, specifications, procedures, revision controls, and basic geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Proficient computer skills and the ability to communicate with operators, inspectors, engineers, customers, and government representatives.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally for supplier process audits; expected travel is 0–25%.
• Must provide proof of U.S. citizenship, permanent U.S. residency, or protected-individual status under U.S. export control requirements.
