Strategic Supply Chain Specialist

Location: Hybrid role in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States

Salary: $80,640–$120,960 per year

What you will do

• Manage the full sourcing lifecycle, including recommended bidder lists, RFQs, bid evaluations, supplier selection, purchase orders, change orders, and subcontract closeout.
• Develop sourcing strategies and procurement or subcontract plans for EPC/Cm and M&M projects.
• Track RFQs, purchase orders, supplier data, delivery dates, materials, and subcontract deliverables through project status reporting.
• Lead supplier negotiations, relationship management, supplier development, and diverse supplier engagement.
• Coordinate with Operations, Project Management, Estimating, Supply Chain leadership, and other stakeholders to address risks and schedule impacts.
• Drive cost savings, pricing competitiveness, contract terms management, and mitigation plans for identified risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in the engineering and construction industry, including knowledge of EPC/Cm and M&M supply chain practices.
• Strong sourcing, negotiation, communication, organizational, analytical, decision-making, change management, conflict management, leadership, and program management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and SAP/ERP systems.
• Ability to prioritize competing requirements and support project schedules in a matrixed organization.
