Solutions Engineer, US Partnerships (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in New York City with a 3-day in-office requirement; office culture is also available in Denver. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Annual base salary: $100,000–$115,000.

What you will do

• Lead technical onboarding for strategic partners integrating hirify.global’s embedded payment solution through APIs and SDKs.
• Diagnose, reproduce, and resolve integration issues, technical setup problems, and API usage errors before and after launch.
• Act as the liaison between partner engineering teams and hirify.global’s Product and Engineering teams, escalating issues that require code fixes or product enhancements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, integration guides, and best-practice examples.
• Translate partner business requirements into technical specifications and design integration solutions with Business Development and Product teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Partner Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with API and SDK integrations, RESTful APIs, webhooks, and modern software development practices.
• Ability to write SQL queries against relational databases and understand schemas and table relationships.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to engineers, product managers, and executive stakeholders.
• Experience diagnosing and solving complex multi-system technical challenges while managing multiple partner engagements autonomously.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with payments, fintech, or B2B platforms.
• Experience coding with JavaScript or TypeScript.
