ServiceNow Developer – Senior (ServiceNow)

Location: Fully remote; support coverage is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time, Monday through Friday

Salary: $125,000–$130,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, configure, develop, test, troubleshoot, and sustain ServiceNow applications for USDA APHIS Veterinary Services.
• Develop workflows, business rules, forms, scripts, integrations, and user-facing application components.
• Support indemnity application development and Government-prioritized backlog activities.
• Perform root-cause analysis, defect correction, documentation, demonstrations, and secure reviews.
• Participate in Agile backlog refinement, estimation, testing, and Government-controlled production releases.
• Work within USDA ServiceNow platform governance, security, change, accessibility, and documentation processes.

Requirements

• Production experience with ServiceNow application development and sustainment.
• Experience configuring or developing ServiceNow workflows, application logic, integrations, and user-facing functionality.
• Experience troubleshooting defects and supporting controlled testing and releases.
• Ability to follow enterprise governance, security, change, and documentation processes.
• Must satisfy applicable USDA personnel-security, suitability, PIV, training, and system-access requirements before performing access-dependent work.

Nice to have

• Senior ServiceNow development experience in a federal environment.
• ServiceNow integration and API experience.
• Agile delivery experience with Azure DevOps or comparable backlog and DevOps tools.
• ServiceNow certifications.
