Canadian Cannabis Procurement Specialist

Location: Remote in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada; travel across the GTA is required, with approximately 20% travel and occasional evening work aligned with Australia time.

Salary: CA$70K–CA$80K per year

What you will do

• Identify and engage Canadian cultivators, including new suppliers, and maintain current information on products, capacity, quality, availability, and indicative pricing.
• Work with Australia, UK, and other market teams to understand product specifications and identify suitable flower.
• Coordinate samples, product information, and quality documentation for evaluation.
• Record supplier conversations, opportunities, decisions, samples, and next steps, ensuring consistent follow-through.
• Convert approved demand plans and sourcing decisions into supplier-specific purchase orders, including amendments and tracking.
• Monitor supply, testing, processing, and shipment milestones, escalating delays and risks early.

Requirements

• Must be based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada.
• Availability for approximately 20% travel across the GTA.
• Availability to work some evenings to coordinate with Australia time.
• Strong organization and follow-through across supplier communications, purchase orders, and delivery milestones.
• Ability to coordinate with local suppliers and international market teams.
