Senior Enterprise Sourcing Specialist (Transportation)

Location: Remote; U.S.-based candidates must reside in one of hirify.global's approved states. hirify.global also hires in Canada. Occasional travel to client locations and team onsite meetings is expected, estimated at 5%–10%.

What you will do

• Own sourcing for recurring shuttle programs, major events, transit programs, and other complex transportation engagements.
• Assess operational requirements, constraints, feasibility, and sourcing needs for enterprise opportunities.
• Build comprehensive program cost models and develop sourcing strategies balancing cost, capacity, quality, risk, and client requirements.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with transportation operators based on pricing, geography, capabilities, capacity, service history, and operational fit.
• Partner with Enterprise Sales and Operations on proposals, RFPs, handoffs, operator commitments, pricing assumptions, risks, and post-launch escalations.
• Use data and market intelligence to improve sourcing effectiveness, turnaround time, cost competitiveness, operator selection, and network capacity.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in transportation, mobility, logistics, strategic sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or a related operational environment.
• Experience understanding complex operational requirements and translating them into sourcing strategies and accurate cost models.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets and strong quantitative, pricing, operational, and market-data analysis skills.
• Commercial judgment and experience negotiating supplier or vendor pricing, terms, or service agreements.
• Strong supplier evaluation, problem-solving, relationship-building, organization, communication, and independent execution skills.
• Ability to manage evolving scopes, incomplete information, compressed timelines, competing priorities, and cross-functional stakeholder communication.
