Procurement Site Lead VAI - Toronto

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada (Hybrid)

Salary: CAD 75,200–119,500 annually, including target bonus.

What you will do

• Support global lead buyers and category managers in developing and executing direct and indirect procurement strategies.
• Build and monitor cost-reduction pipelines, communicate market index developments, and apply total cost of ownership principles.
• Consolidate site business needs related to supply risk, new sourcing, crisis management, suppliers, technologies, product launches, capital projects, and transfers.
• Manage the site spend profile and deliver savings across procurement categories.
• Lead supplier-related actions, including contract application, supplier quality and delivery performance, service improvements, and issue resolution.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing, Quality, Technical, Engineering, and global procurement stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or Business, ideally with procurement education or equivalent procurement experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
• Excellent written and spoken English required.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, supplier negotiation, facilitation, and project management skills.
• Knowledge of procurement systems, processes, procedures, and Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to work in an international environment and matrix organization.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Pharma, Biologics, FMCG, or bioprocessing categories.
• Experience with procurement systems, processes, and procedures.
