Field Service Engineers East Midlands (Recycling Technology)

Location: Lincoln Ln, Boston, UK; field-based work throughout the East Midlands and travel across the region with occasional overnight stays

Salary: GBP 32,000–GBP 37,000 per year

What you will do

• Install, commission, maintain, and repair hirify.global reverse vending machines at customer sites.
• Support the rollout of new recycling equipment across the UK.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and perform preventative and reactive repairs.
• Build professional relationships with customers and site contacts.
• Record service activities, machine status, and updates in digital systems.
• Share field feedback, develop technical expertise, and follow hirify.global Safe and LOTO procedures.

Requirements

• Foundation in electromechanical systems and an interest in analysing, testing, and repairing complex equipment.
• Solution-oriented mindset, attention to detail, and clear communication skills.
• Ability to use power tools and hand tools independently and collaboratively.
• Flexibility to travel and work in a field-based role, including occasional approved overtime and weekend work.
• Full UK driving licence required.
