Business Analyst (Retail Technology)

Booker is a UK food and drink wholesaler within Tesco plc, serving independent retailers, caterers, and small businesses through branches, distribution centres, logistics sites, and support centres across the UK.

What you will do

• Work with business and technology stakeholders across retail and logistics to understand needs, challenges, and opportunities.
• Analyse existing business processes and identify ways to make them simpler, more effective, and more efficient.
• Gather, define, and document business requirements, user stories, and specifications.
• Facilitate workshops and discussions, create process maps, and build alignment around proposed solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Project Managers, Engineering teams, and other Technology colleagues throughout delivery.
• Support system integration testing, user acceptance testing, implementation, risk management, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Experience working as a Business Analyst on business and technology change.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with process analysis, process mapping, stakeholder facilitation, testing, implementation, and business change.
• Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Jira.

Nice to have

• Business Analysis qualification such as BCS or equivalent.
