Business Analyst (Insurance)

What you will do

• Bridge technical delivery teams and business stakeholders for financial services and insurance clients.
• Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Support solution design with product owners, architects, designers, developers, and quality engineers.
• Work in Agile Scrum or Kanban teams and participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support testing through test case definition, UAT coordination, and defect triage.
• Contribute to sales proposals, RFP responses, client pitches, and insurance-sector offerings.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a technology-focused role within management consulting or change and transformation teams.
• Substantial experience in Financial Services and Insurance, including areas such as policy administration, underwriting, claims, or digital distribution.
• Experience leading and delivering complex programmes across business and technology.
• Strong communication, influencing, analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organisational skills.
• Good understanding of leading technologies, data, AI, and digital trends in financial services and insurance.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM, Business, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with general insurance, life and pensions, or specialty lines.
• MBA.
• PMP, Agile/Scrum, PSPO/CSPO, or CBAP certification.
