Registered Nurse-Medical Surgical Observation Part Time Nights

Location: McHenry, Illinois, United States; onsite night shift

Salary: $34.50–$55.20 per hour

What you will do

• Assess acutely ill patients, analyze clinical data, and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement, coordinate, and evaluate nursing interventions and patient outcomes.
• Direct and delegate care activities to assistants involved in patient care.
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and ancillary staff.
• Document care, patient responses, communications, and updates to the plan of care.
• Participate in shared governance, committees, unit projects, and evidence-based practice.

Requirements

• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• BSN required; an ADN is accepted with a commitment to complete a BSN within three years of starting the clinical nurse role.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work onsite in McHenry, Illinois, on night shifts required.

Nice to have

• Experience in the relevant clinical area.
• Trauma Nurse Specialist, Emergency Communications Registered Nurse, Certified Pediatric Nurse, or Certified Emergency Nurse credentials.
