Salary: USD 34.50–55.20 per hour

What you will do

• Assess acutely ill patients and develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Implement, coordinate, and evaluate nursing interventions and patient outcomes.
• Direct and determine the appropriate utilization of assistants involved in patient care.
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and ancillary staff.
• Document care delivery, patient responses, communications, and care-plan updates in the health record.
• Participate in shared governance, committee work, unit projects, and evidence-based practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or an Associate Degree in Nursing with a commitment to obtain a BSN within three years.
• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• Ability to follow professional nursing standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.

Nice to have

• Experience in the relevant clinical area.
• Trauma Nurse Specialist, Emergency Communications Registered Nurse, Certified Pediatric Nurse, or Certified Emergency Nurse credentials.
