What you will do

• Assess patients across physical, psychological, emotional, cultural, and environmental needs.
• Develop, update, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Administer medications and treatments safely while providing pain management, comfort, and patient education.
• Monitor patient responses, diagnostic data, and changes in condition, initiating appropriate nursing interventions.
• Coordinate communication with physicians, healthcare providers, hospital departments, and community agencies.
• Document assessments, treatments, interventions, education, discharge planning, and patient outcomes accurately.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• An Associate Degree in Nursing is acceptable with a commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of starting the clinical nurse role.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills are preferred.
