What you will do
- Order materials required for production and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to maintain continuity of supply.
- Raise and maintain accurate purchase orders and purchasing records.
- Coordinate import and export customs activities, review documentation, and liaise with freight forwarders and customs contacts.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain reports, metrics, and supply chain KPIs.
- Support inventory management, stock-level optimisation, cost reviews, and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Support new purchasing and supply chain policies, procedures, process improvements, and continuous improvement across site management systems.
Requirements
- Experience in purchasing, supply chain, customs, logistics, or a related environment.
- Strong attention to detail, prioritisation, communication, and independent working skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience supporting or implementing policies, procedures, or process improvements.
- Ability to work effectively with suppliers and colleagues across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and other functions.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 and FDA QMSR requirements.
- Experience with customs data or customs legislation.
- Third-level qualification in Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline.
