Procurement/Category Manager (Indirect Procurement)

Location: Hybrid role based 2 days per week on site in Cork, Ireland

What you will do

• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and identify indirect procurement opportunities.
• Develop and execute category strategies across IT, Marketing, Professional Services, HR, Facilities, and other corporate services.
• Manage sourcing projects from opportunity identification and market analysis through supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, and implementation.
• Analyze spend, supplier, and market data to identify savings, cost avoidance, consolidation, and other value opportunities.
• Monitor supplier performance, support supplier risk management, and improve service levels, commercial terms, and overall value.
• Work cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, and other functions to align procurement activities with business requirements and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management.
• Strong understanding of indirect procurement categories, sourcing, supplier management, and commercial negotiations.
• Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with spend analytics, dashboards, procurement technology, and AI-enabled tools.
• Experience supporting supplier performance, QBRs, and supplier risk management.
