Material Planner

Location: Dublin Port, Ireland; hybrid with two days a week in the office

What you will do

• Plan and place purchase orders for ingredients and packaging.
• Use production forecasts, inventory data, demand and supplier lead times to manage stock levels.
• Respond to supplier delays, availability issues and changing production requirements.
• Build day-to-day relationships with suppliers and the logistics partner.
• Coordinate with Buying, Quality, Operations and Food teams.
• Analyse supply chain data and support improvements to planning processes.

Requirements

• Experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, planning or a related operational environment.
• Strong organisation and the ability to balance priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Clear communication with suppliers, partners and colleagues.
• Comfort using spreadsheets and data to support decisions.
• Willingness to learn Google Sheets, Excel and Microsoft Dynamics.
• Ability to work from Dublin Port with two office days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with fresh food, purchase orders, Power BI or planning systems.
• Interest in developing across materials planning and the wider supply chain.
