What you will do

  • Coordinate customs clearance documentation for customers.
  • Communicate with customs authorities and advise customers on customs requirements in origin and destination countries.
  • Manage customs compliance issues, regulations, policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Process and collect duty and VAT correctly and resolve queries and refunds.
  • Conduct daily and weekly entry audits and identify compliance risks, improvement opportunities, and IT solutions.
  • Support key accounts, develop cost-saving options with Sales and Account Management, and train staff on customs updates.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in the customs brokerage industry or relevant education.
  • Excellent knowledge of Irish customs procedures and systems.
  • Effective interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to communicate with customers and internal employees at all levels.
  • Experience with Word, Excel, Windows, email, and other PC-based software.
