Quality Support Technician x 2

Location: Desford, Leicestershire, United Kingdom; onsite production role

Salary: £35,200, rising to £39,000 when role objectives are reached

What you will do

• Support quality activities across the production area and help coordinate a small team of Auditors and Quality Technicians.
• Identify and investigate production defects using established quality processes.
• Report issues to team leaders, suppliers, and other departments to support timely resolution.
• Record defects and track repairs in computer systems.
• Promote safe working practices and contribute to improvements in production quality.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify defects accurately during production.
• Practical problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve quality issues.
• Clear communication with team members, suppliers, and other departments.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Basic computer skills, including Excel and PowerPoint, for logging and reporting issues.
• Ability to work onsite in Desford, Leicestershire, United Kingdom.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting, guiding, or coordinating a small team and prioritising workload.
• Understanding of hydraulic components and assemblies.
