Maintenance Engineer (Exeter/UK)

What you will do

• Travel to customer sites and deliver preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment installations.
• Analyse technical issues, escalate when required, and follow standard operating procedures.
• Train customer operators and support production plant efficiency.
• Monitor service contracts and contribute to business development and service growth.
• Ensure compliance with safety, food-quality, reporting, and occupational health and safety standards.
• Represent hirify.global professionally, improve customer operations, maintain a safe work environment, and complete site visit reports.

Requirements

• Up to 3 years of experience in maintenance, service, or installation roles.
• Education in industrial systems, automation, or process engineering.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and good computer literacy.
• Ability to travel extensively, including at short notice and occasionally overseas.
• Strong written and spoken English required.
• Proactive, customer-first mindset.
