Field Engineer (ATM)

Location: Field work in Derby or Nottingham, United Kingdom

Salary: £31,000–£33,000 per year, depending on experience

What you will do

• Diagnose faults and repair or replace ATM modules on customer sites.
• Install, maintain, and repair equipment across an assigned territory.
• Take ownership of customer incidents and resolve issues in line with Service Level Agreements.
• Follow health and safety policies during field operations.
• Travel extensively and handle physical activities including lifting, carrying, bending, squatting, walking, standing, and sitting for extended periods.

Requirements

• Valid full UK manual driving licence required.
• Strong local geographical knowledge required for the assigned territory.
• Experience in break/fix support, IT, computer repair, or mechanical repair.
• Basic computer hardware and software knowledge, including Windows operating systems and general PC maintenance.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, problem-solving ability, independence, and customer-facing communication skills.
• Traceable work and education history, criminal record check, and credit background check required.

Nice to have

• PIA licences; training and certification will be provided if not already held.
• Experience with NCR or Wincor ATMs.
• Previous field-based or engineering experience.
