Robotics Maintenance Technician (Robotics)

Location: Sheffield, England, United Kingdom; on-site at a customer warehouse automation installation. Morning and afternoon shifts are expected, with night shifts during peak periods.

What you will do

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on robots, conveyors, machines, and automated warehouse systems.
• Monitor system performance and improve reliability, uptime, and operational availability.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and automation-related faults and conduct root cause analysis.
• Support system installation, deployment, commissioning, and integration of new equipment.
• Respond to operational incidents and equipment breakdowns while maintaining high service levels.
• Collaborate with technicians and cross-functional teams, share technical knowledge, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in industrial, electrical, automation, or maintenance environments.
• Strong electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, fault-finding, and problem-solving skills.
• Good mechanical maintenance knowledge and experience with industrial machinery, automated systems, or robotics.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to work on-site in Sheffield and participate in shift patterns, including night shifts during peak periods.

Nice to have

• Experience with robotics or warehouse automation systems.
• Knowledge of conveyors, material handling, distribution centre equipment, PLCs, sensors, motors, drives, or industrial control systems.
• Background in logistics, manufacturing, automation, or intralogistics.
• Relevant UK electrical qualifications or certifications.
