Materials Forecasting Manager (Supply Chain)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain accurate material demand forecasts across large-scale construction programmes.
• Analyse project schedules, design information and construction plans to identify future material requirements.
• Identify long lead-time materials, supply constraints and emerging market risks.
• Partner with suppliers, procurement teams, and clients to validate forecasting assumptions.
• Develop mitigation strategies to address material shortages and market volatility.
• Produce regular reporting on forecast accuracy and supply chain risks for senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience in materials planning, forecasting, or supply chain management.
• Background working within complex construction, infrastructure, manufacturing or engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of supply chain risk management and mitigation strategies.
• Experience managing long lead-time materials within large-scale projects.
• Ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into practical business decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
