Senior Professional Engineer (Drainage/H&H)

What you will do

• Lead drainage design for FDOT roadway and transportation projects in Florida.
• Develop drainage concepts and perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for stormwater management systems.
• Design storm sewer, pond, exfiltration, and roadway drainage infrastructure.
• Prepare drainage calculations, reports, design plans, technical specifications, and probable construction cost estimates.
• Review project designs, perform engineering calculations, and ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and the FDOT Drainage Manual.
• Coordinate with roadway, geotechnical, structures, and other disciplines while assisting with project management, scheduling, and contract administration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• 7+ years of drainage and/or hydrology and hydraulics engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of drainage and H&H design and engineering techniques.
• Ability to lead and champion a team of engineers and technicians.
• Ability to complete applicable pre-employment substance screening and background checks.
