What you will do
- Manage banking and software delivery projects from planning through execution, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.
- Coordinate requirements, development, testing, user acceptance testing, releases, and implementation across the software delivery lifecycle.
- Manage project workflows in Jira and collaborate with engineering, product, QA, infrastructure, operations, and business stakeholders.
- Lead analysis, requirements gathering, solution design, impact assessments, and release readiness reviews for strategic initiatives.
- Analyze large datasets, prepare executive-ready reports and presentations, and translate technical and business information into actionable recommendations.
- Develop governance frameworks, support compliance-focused delivery, and drive post-release evaluation and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in project management, program management, operations, or a related role within banking or financial services.
- Proven experience managing technology or software delivery projects and cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of banking operations, compliance requirements, stakeholders, and technology-driven change programs.
- Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and product lifecycle, with experience in Agile or Scrum environments.
- Strong skills in Jira, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Confluence, ServiceNow, or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with practical experience using AI tools.
Nice to have
- Python experience for data analysis and automation.
- Experience with systems integration, APIs, databases, cloud technologies, or software architecture.
- Experience with regulatory, compliance, or risk-related banking initiatives.
- PMP, Agile, Scrum, or CBAP certification.
