Senior IT Project Manager (AI)

Location: US Remote

Salary: $93,250–$166,250 per year; eligible for the company bonus plan.

What you will do

• Plan, schedule, and execute complex technical projects and software implementations within scope, schedule, resource or budget, and quality constraints.
• Define project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and identify, mitigate, and escalate risks.
• Communicate project requirements, expectations, constraints, milestones, risks, and achievements to stakeholders, project teams, and senior or executive leadership.
• Manage vendor contracting through execution and monitor vendor resources, delivery, and contract performance.
• Lead project teams in a collaborative, high-performance environment and mentor junior project managers.
• Improve project management processes and identify efficiency gains and best practices, particularly through AI.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience successfully leading complex projects to completion.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and support knowledge sharing.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
• Flexibility and adaptability for managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail in project planning, execution, and documentation.
• Knowledge of Agile frameworks and hybrid project management approaches.

Nice to have

• PMP or another project management certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or an equivalent field.
• Experience creating or leveraging AI-enabled project management practices.
