Senior Product Manager (xAPI)

Location: Based at the London Farringdon office, with 60% of the week spent collaborating at office locations or local sites and the remainder remotely. Welwyn Garden City is listed in the conditions.

What you will do

• Define and communicate the product strategy and outcome-led roadmap for the xAPI platform.
• Own and prioritize the backlog across platform capabilities, technical investments, operational work, and core product contributions.
• Improve the experience of platform users, including subgraph teams, client teams, contributors, and service owners.
• Establish product metrics for adoption, platform health, engineering efficiency, and risk reduction.
• Make evidence-based trade-offs across reliability, security, developer experience, scalability, technical debt, cost, and delivery speed.
• Coordinate dependencies and communicate direction, decisions, risks, progress, and outcomes with engineering, architecture, security, operations, and senior leadership.

Requirements

• Significant product management experience owning a technically complex platform, API product, developer product, or PaaS capability.
• Experience managing an engineering backlog covering architecture evolution, technical debt, reliability, security, developer tooling, and feature delivery.
• Strong knowledge of APIs and distributed systems, including REST, GraphQL, schemas, contracts, versioning, authentication, caching, and JSON.
• Experience defining outcome-based roadmaps, OKRs, product metrics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and non-functional requirements.
• Ability to lead stakeholders across product, engineering, architecture, security, operations, and senior management.
• Ability to work from the London Farringdon office for the required hybrid schedule.
