Senior Product Lead (Fintech): Leading the strategy, development, and performance of current account propositions and customer journeys for millions of banking customers with an accent on growth, engagement, retention, and regulatory outcomes. Focus on defining product roadmaps, using analytics and experimentation to optimise customer value, and balancing customer needs, commercial goals, risk, and technology opportunities.
Location: Hybrid role based in Leeds, Halifax, Bristol, or Manchester, with at least two days per week or 40% of working time at an office site.
Salary: £78,098–£91,880 per year

What you will do
- Define and deliver product vision, strategy, objectives, and key results for current account propositions and customer journeys.
- Lead initiatives that increase proposition adoption, customer engagement, retention, and lifetime value.
- Own product roadmaps and prioritisation decisions, focusing on the highest-value opportunities.
- Partner with Engineering, Analytics, Marketing, Risk, and Customer teams to deliver measurable outcomes.
- Use customer insight, analytics, and experimentation to identify opportunities and optimise product performance.
- Develop product capability, coach Product Leads, and embed resilient, evidence-based product practices.
Requirements
- Significant experience leading product strategy and delivering measurable customer and commercial outcomes in a digital product environment.
- Experience owning roadmaps, prioritisation, and delivery through cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of customer growth, engagement, and retention strategies, supported by analytics and experimentation.
- Experience working in a regulated environment with knowledge of risk management, governance, and customer outcome requirements.
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing Product Managers or Product Leads while influencing senior stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience in retail banking, current accounts, payments, or broader financial services products.
- Knowledge of objectives and key results, hypothesis-based experimentation, and customer-centred design.
- Interest in new technologies, digital innovation, and the evolution of banking.
