Human Resources Director

Location: Ellenton, Florida, United States; hybrid workplace with travel of up to 30%, including nights and weekends.

What you will do

• Direct HR functions across talent acquisition, policy development, regulatory compliance, employee relations, compensation, training, and performance management.
• Provide HR expertise to studios, traveling shows, events, and affiliated companies.
• Lead mediation, complaint investigations, employee terminations, and management consultations.
• Oversee HR Business Partner and HR support activities.
• Ensure HR systems and projects support business workflows, reporting, and strategic goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and relevant industry experience.
• 5–7 years of management experience focused on employee relations and related HR functions.
• Working knowledge of compensation, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state employment laws.
• Strong conflict management, communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and relationship management skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365 and ERP systems; UKG experience is preferred.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement based in Ellenton, Florida and travel up to 30%.
