Associate Technical Application Specialist (AI/Automation)

Location: London, Leeds, or Edinburgh, United Kingdom. Hybrid working requires at least two days per week or 40% of working time at an office site.

Salary: £53,073–£58,970 per year.

What you will do

• Support the Transaction Banking Implementation team with onboarding for complex clients.
• Use Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and Microsoft 365 tools to simplify processes.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve productivity and delivery efficiency.
• Translate improvement opportunities into practical, scalable solutions.
• Work across business and technology teams while managing multiple priorities and delivery risks.

Requirements

• Advanced hands-on experience with AI and automation tools, including Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power BI, and Microsoft 365.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Microsoft 365 productivity tools.
• Experience turning process improvement opportunities into scalable solutions.
• Awareness of risk, controls, data considerations, and operational requirements.
• Ability to work in a hybrid pattern from London, Leeds, or Edinburgh, with at least two office days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience applying generative AI to business processes or operational workflows.
• Background in banking, financial services, Transaction Banking, client implementation, or onboarding.
• Knowledge of process mapping, workflow redesign, Lean, or continuous-improvement methodologies.
• Experience creating MI, dashboards, and data visualisations.
• Knowledge of AI governance, data privacy, information security, operational risk, or change adoption.
