Staff Engineer (Kubernetes)

What you will do

• Provide technical support for end users and application developers using a managed Kubernetes cluster solution deployed at the edge.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, deployment, and performance issues in AWS or AliCloud environments.
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.
• Maintain monitoring, logging, tracing, and observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger, and Thanos.
• Maintain infrastructure as code and GitOps solutions using Terraform, FluxCD, Helm, and Kustomize.
• Develop automation scripts and internal tools while collaborating with development, security, and operations teams.

Requirements

• High proficiency in English.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
• Experience with cloud computing, including AWS or AliCloud networking, compute, and security configurations.
• Knowledge of Terraform, infrastructure as code, GitOps, FluxCD, Helm, Kustomize, and CI/CD automation.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, distributed tracing, and observability tools.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
