Quality & Test Technician (Electronics Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Inspect PCB assemblies, solder joints, component placement, labeling, polarity, and overall workmanship according to IPC standards.
• Check conformal coating, underfill, and dispensing applications, and operate coating, dispensing, and curing equipment.
• Operate flying probe and functional test equipment, execute approved test programs, review results, and support basic troubleshooting.
• Flash firmware, configure electronic assemblies and finished products, and perform burn-in and functional tests.
• Integrate electronic assemblies into mechanical housings and perform basic electromechanical assembly operations.
• Document non-conformances, maintain traceability and test records, and support new product introduction and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as an electronics technician, mechatronics technician, or equivalent.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing, assembly, testing, inspection, or quality assurance.
• Practical knowledge of IPC-A-610 or equivalent workmanship standards, PCBA inspection, and electronic testing.
• Experience with firmware flashing and device configuration, plus basic understanding of schematics, assembly drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
• Knowledge of ESD protection, traceability systems, and production documentation.
• Good English skills required. German language skills are advantageous.

Nice to have

• Experience with flying probe or functional testing.
• Familiarity with conformal coating, underfill, or dispensing processes.
• Experience supporting new product introduction and continuous improvement.
