TL;DR
Technical Field Service Engineer (M/F) (PCB and Semiconductor): Supporting PCB and semiconductor customers with plating and metallization solutions, including installation, optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement with an accent on customer-facing technical problem-solving and advanced electronics manufacturing. Focus on resolving complex process challenges, presenting technical solutions, tracking technology roadmaps, and collaborating with R&D, quality, commercial, and customer service teams across EMEA.
Location: Neu-Isenburg, Hessen, Germany; on-site customer support and travel across the EMEA region required approximately 30–50% of the time.

What you will do
- Partner with PCB and advanced semiconductor packaging customers to identify technical challenges and deliver plating and metallization solutions.
- Support process installation, optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement both on-site and remotely.
- Build relationships with engineers, technical leaders, influencers, and decision-makers.
- Capture customer technology roadmaps and market trends to support innovation and product development.
- Lead technical discussions, customer presentations, and training sessions.
- Collaborate with R&D, Applications, Quality, Customer Service, and Commercial teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Several years of experience in PCB manufacturing, electronics, semiconductor, or related industries.
- Strong expertise in PCB plating, metallization, or surface-finishing technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; fluent English required.
- Willingness and ability to travel across EMEA approximately 30–50% of the time.
- Strong initiative, accountability, customer focus, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Nice to have
- Experience with semiconductor manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of advanced packaging, assembly, and test technologies.
- Experience supporting leading semiconductor customers.
- Additional German and/or French language skills.
