QA Inspector (m/f/d)

Location: Oberpfaffenhofen near Munich, Germany; hybrid work and mobile work abroad are available.

What you will do

• Support and witness assembly, integration, and test activities in ISO 5 and ISO 8 cleanroom environments.
• Perform hardware inspections, validation activities, and test setup verification during integration and testing.
• Support operational activities during test and launch campaigns, including work at external facilities.
• Handle high-precision components safely and professionally.
• Raise and process anomaly reports and non-conformance reports in the AIT environment.
• Create and maintain inspection reports and supplier documentation in the company database while coordinating with AIT, Engineering, and Product Assurance.

Requirements

• Degree in a technical discipline, completed technical training in mechanics such as precision mechanics or optics, or at least three years of professional experience in the aeronautics or aerospace industry.
• Experience in quality or AIT is preferred.
• Structured and precise working style with strong commitment to project quality.
• Strong communication skills in international project environments.
• Proficient written and spoken English and German required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Jira and SAP, including advanced SAP knowledge.
• Experience with procedures, detailed reporting, and fully digital work environments.
• Knowledge of ECSS-Q-ST-20C Rev.2 and ECSS-Q-ST-70C Rev.2.
• Strong team spirit and collaborative mindset.
