Senior Manufacturing Supervisor (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Monitor process indicators and implement actions to achieve department objectives.
• Lead employee performance management, feedback, mentoring, coaching, and goal setting.
• Mentor supervisors and align departmental goals with organizational objectives.
• Assess training needs, oversee departmental training, and drive development initiatives.
• Audit manufacturing processes, identify gaps, and implement corrective action plans.
• Coordinate with engineering staff, support new product launches, and justify staffing and capital needs through data.
• Apply and teach Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, safety, and World Class Manufacturing principles.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of supervisory experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and upstream and downstream product flow.
• Ability to model, mentor, and teach organizational values and principles.
• Strong professional communication, writing, documentation, prioritization, organization, delegation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and departmental business systems such as Lotus Notes, Dynamics AX, and SQS.
• Ability to learn new skills, assume responsibilities, continuously improve processes, and work cooperatively in a team environment.

Nice to have

• College degree, such as a BS or BA.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office and departmental business systems.
