Field Service Engineer (Life Sciences)

Location: São Paulo, Brazil; remote work from home with 50–75% travel, mostly within Brazil and occasionally to the US for training

What you will do

• Provide daily service support to existing customers.
• Repair, install, and maintain laboratory equipment at customer sites.
• Build performance KPIs and work toward established service targets.
• Collaborate with applications, marketing, administration, and sales teams.
• Build customer relationships and improve the overall service experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or biology.
• At least 3 years of field service experience in diagnostics or research.
• Fluent written and conversational English.
• Valid US visa required for occasional training travel.
• Ability to travel 50–75% of the time, primarily domestically within Brazil.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and ability to lift up to 66 pounds (about 30 kg).

• Experience with flow cytometry.
