Design Engineer (Electrical)

Location: Piracicaba, São Paulo, Brazil; onsite five days a week

What you will do

• Design and develop electrical components for diesel and gas gensets.
• Support product maintenance, development, testing, and production release activities.
• Resolve complex product design defects and quality concerns affecting current production.
• Assess and disposition engineering deviations related to performance, quality, and manufacturability.
• Lead process improvement and global standardization initiatives.
• Maintain engineering documentation, design guides, and processes while supporting NPI, NSI, PCI, and CPI programs.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering and active CREA registration.
• Pre-advanced English proficiency required.
• Experience with NPI processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Availability to work onsite five days a week in Piracicaba, São Paulo.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of diesel and gas genset design and operation.
• Understanding of UL, CSA, and IBC standards.
• Experience with CREO and TeamCenter.
• Product design, development, or project management experience.
• Post-graduate qualification.
