Cloud Billing Team Leader

Location: Marlow, United Kingdom; hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day cloud billing operations and support recurring billing cycles.
• Manage team workloads and priorities to deliver accurate and timely billing outcomes.
• Coach, develop, and motivate Cloud Billing Analysts.
• Resolve complex billing and customer issues as an escalation point.
• Monitor performance, capacity, service quality, KPIs, governance, controls, reconciliations, and audit requirements.
• Drive automation, standardisation, process improvement, and collaboration across Finance, Technology, Sales, Customer Operations, and Service Delivery.

Requirements

• Experience in a complex billing, finance, technology, telecommunications, cloud, or managed services environment.
• Previous experience leading, coaching, or coordinating operational teams.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing high-volume operational processes and competing priorities.
• Understanding of operational controls, governance, and service management.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with complex data.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud, subscription, or usage-based billing models.
• Knowledge of Microsoft, AWS, or Adobe billing.
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite.
• Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, operational transformation, or business change initiatives.
