Payroll Finance Integration & Transformation Manager

Location: Peterborough, United Kingdom; 100% onsite attendance five days a week. Up to 25% travel required.

Salary: £79,424, dependent upon experience.

What you will do

• Govern the end-to-end payroll-to-finance process and ensure accurate, timely payroll data for Tax, Treasury, Accounting, and other stakeholders.
• Simplify and modernize payroll data flows while reducing manual work and improving data quality.
• Lead automation, standardization, process improvement, and control-strengthening initiatives.
• Partner with Finance leaders to resolve operational challenges and implement scalable solutions for payroll accounting, reconciliations, funding, and compliance.
• Help shape future-state processes and technology as part of a multi-year global payroll transformation.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of payroll accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, controls, and compliance requirements.
• Experience leading process improvement, automation, or transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge of payroll management, HR operations, business process improvement, and change impact assessment.
• Ability to analyze situations, make informed decisions, influence stakeholders, and work collaboratively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Working knowledge of Workday HCM, Payroll, and FINS is strongly desired.
• Ability to work onsite in Peterborough five days a week and travel up to 25%.
