Fab Process Development Technician (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Beaverton, Oregon, United States. Full-time onsite role with a Wednesday–Friday and alternating Saturday night shift from 5:00pm to 5:30am.

Pay: $18.80–$24.68 per hour, plus a 15% night-shift differential.

What you will do

• Process thin-film substrates using metal etching, plating, photolithography, and other fabrication operations.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate specialized and complex manufacturing equipment.
• Track products through process cycles and perform final inspections against quality standards.
• Collect, organize, and analyze statistical process control data.
• Author and update process instructions and documentation.
• Identify process improvements, become a subject matter expert in a fabrication department, and train other technicians.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of related technician or operative experience.
• Experience with semiconductor manufacturing processes, chemical handling, microscopes, mechanical equipment, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, multitasking, prioritization, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Ability to follow complex system-driven workflows and safety and environmental procedures.
• Ability to work for extended periods in a cleanroom while wearing a full protective suit and handling chemicals.
• Ability to use a microscope for up to approximately 80% of a shift, push and pull 10–15 lb materials, and lift materials up to 6 lb.
