What you will do

• Develop and execute global sourcing and category strategies for electronic equipment, controls, and digital technologies.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard strategic suppliers through market analysis, spend optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Build long-term supplier partnerships and drive performance through KPIs, business reviews, and continuous improvement.
• Lead supplier development programs focused on quality, capability, and supply chain resilience.
• Negotiate commercial contracts covering pricing, intellectual property, and long-term service agreements.
• Assess supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect business continuity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, or a comparable technical or business discipline.
• Extensive experience in strategic procurement, sourcing, or category management, particularly with electronic equipment and technical commodities.
• Experience managing complex supplier relationships, supplier development, and procurement projects in regulated or high-technology industries.
• Advanced contract negotiation, contract management, and risk mitigation skills.
• Strong analytical, strategic, and stakeholder management skills.
• Business-fluent German and English.
