Equipment Maintenance Technician (Warehouse Automation)

What you will do

• Inspect, maintain, and repair warehouse equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Perform electric and gas welding repairs when required and follow applicable safety standards.
• Respond to breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests to minimize operational disruption.
• Maintain repair logs, maintenance records, and equipment performance data.
• Collaborate with operations teams on recurring issues, preventive solutions, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in equipment maintenance or a technician role.
• Ability to independently diagnose and troubleshoot common equipment malfunctions.
• Proficiency in electric and gas welding repairs.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and maintenance principles.
• Ability to meet response, repair, uptime, preventive maintenance, and safety performance targets.
• Long-term contract workers with at least 6 months of stable service may also be considered.

Nice to have

• Technical diploma, vocational qualification, advanced technical certification, or trade license in mechanical, electrical, or maintenance engineering.
• Welding certification or related trade qualification.
• Experience in logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or automated equipment environments.
