Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote from Sao Paulo, Brazil

Estimated base salary: $40,000–$50,000 per year

hirify.global is building an AI-native healthcare platform covering clinical documentation, intelligent patient and revenue workflows, and autonomous revenue cycle management integrated with more than 60 EHRs.

What you will do

• Build LLM-powered automation that identifies fixes for denied healthcare claims, including evaluations, dry runs, audit trails, and autonomous execution controls.
• Design safety guardrails for identity, payer types, duplicate prevention, quality assurance, and production releases.
• Scale an explainable, idempotent rule engine supporting configurable conditions and actions across high transaction volumes.
• Develop observability dashboards, validation scoring, automated appeal letters, and medical-record packets.
• Build a unified console for managing billing, pre-submission validation, and adjustment automations.
• Own integrations and end-to-end product delivery while collaborating with product, engineering, and healthcare stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency with TypeScript and React.
• Proficiency with Python or Go.
• Experience with Git, GCP or AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, relational and non-relational databases, and monitoring or alerting tools.
• Experience designing end-to-end solutions, making architectural decisions, conducting code reviews, and mentoring engineers.
