Senior Fullstack Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Milan, Italy, with in-person collaboration at the Milan HQ

Annual salary: €50,000–€80,000 plus equity

hirify.global is building an AI product that helps lawyers, law firms, and companies work more efficiently and sets new standards for legal technology.

What you will do

• Make technical decisions for a product squad of four to five people and own those decisions in production.
• Build and ship features across the full stack, working with Next.js, TypeScript, Python, Django, and Django Ninja.
• Develop and operate systems used by real customers, including Postgres, vector stores, and LLM pipelines.
• Collaborate with a product manager and designer to turn product vision into shipped software.
• Review code and help other engineers improve their technical judgment and execution.
• Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor while identifying and correcting their errors.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including ownership of at least one system end to end.
• Experience shipping and operating production systems that real users depended on.
• Strong depth in one area of the stack and sufficient fluency in the other side to ship features independently.
• Experience with or ability to learn Next.js, TypeScript, React, Python, Django, Django Ninja, Postgres, vector stores, and LLM pipelines.
• Regular code review practice and the ability to explain what failed in production, its impact, and the resulting improvements.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Milan, Italy.

Nice to have

• Strong backend experience with limited React exposure, or strong frontend experience with limited Python exposure.
• Experience using Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI coding tools on a daily basis.
