Maintenance Engineering Manager

Location: Sydney, Australia; Fairfield homecare manufacturing site

What you will do

• Lead site maintenance activities, maintenance trades, and contractors.
• Drive preventative and predictive maintenance programs, schedules, and work orders through SAP PM or CMMS.
• Lead root cause analysis, breakdown investigations, and equipment reliability initiatives.
• Support planned shutdowns, changeovers, equipment commissioning, and production continuity.
• Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts, contractor performance, and CAPEX.
• Lead safety, compliance, equipment layout, and continuous improvement programs.

Requirements

• Experience in maintenance engineering and maintenance leadership.
• Background in FMCG, food, packaging, pharmaceuticals, personal care, or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing maintenance teams and contractors.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance, reliability improvement, and shutdown planning.
• Experience with SAP PM or CMMS systems.
• Engineering qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related field.
