Cloud Engineer II (AWS/GCP)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-native platform components and managed services.
• Build REST APIs, backend services, data-processing functions, event-driven workflows, and enterprise data integrations.
• Support data ingestion, normalization, validation, storage, and retrieval.
• Implement platform observability with logging, metrics, distributed tracing, error handling, health checks, dashboards, and alerting.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, configuration management, security controls, and cloud troubleshooting.
• Participate in Agile planning, code reviews, technical documentation, defect investigation, and delivery coordination.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Approximately 2–5 years of software development experience with Java, JavaScript, Python, or TypeScript.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, object-oriented programming, software architecture, relational databases, SQL, Git, and automated testing.
• Working knowledge of AWS services such as S3, EC2, and RDS, and Google Cloud services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and BigQuery.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub, Spring Boot, Apigee, CI/CD, and Agile software development.
• Ability to collaborate with product owners, architects, engineers, data specialists, testers, and operations teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with agentic AI workflows, RAG, RAGAS, vectorization, LLM orchestration, or AI service integrations.
• Experience with Google Kubernetes Engine, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, Terraform, React, and TypeScript.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture, asynchronous processing, data pipelines, OpenTelemetry, OpenAPI, Swagger, and platform observability.
• Familiarity with prompt management, AI response validation, confidence scoring, human-feedback capture, and secure role-based access control.
• Master’s degree and experience in Agile or Scrum delivery models.
