Materials Project Management III (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Manage material shortages for an assigned business unit and maintain supply continuity for production lines.
• Coordinate with purchasing, supplier account management, suppliers, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and materials management teams.
• Plan critical materials, review MRP, maintain inventory levels, and support responses to demand changes and engineering change orders.
• Lead shortage escalations, supplier follow-ups, production and supplier meetings, and expedited receipt of critical materials.
• Maintain bill of materials accuracy and resolve material-related accounting, receiving, and procurement issues.
• Develop process improvements, business simplification methods, ISO documentation, and cost-reduction inputs based on material specifications and engineering drawings.

Requirements

• Conceptual and practical expertise in materials management or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of supply chain, purchasing, procurement, inventory, and materials planning practices.
• Ability to solve complex problems, analyze multiple information sources, and exercise sound judgment.
• Ability to communicate difficult or sensitive information and build consensus across functions.
• Ability to support colleagues with less experience and lead small projects.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.
