What you will do
- Lead a local procurement unit covering the full scope of assigned parts, materials, and services for manufacturing sites.
- Build supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance, delivery execution, and claims.
- Monitor warehouse inventories and plan procurement quantities against production and delivery plans.
- Negotiate delivery terms and manage locally relevant supplier contracts.
- Manage and continuously improve procurement processes, budgets, and operational plans.
- Act as a local escalation point for delivery negotiations and claim management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, supply chain, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in direct procurement, including hands-on sourcing and supplier negotiations.
- Experience with contract management and ownership of contract processes.
- Strong project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and drive initiatives across multiple locations.
Nice to have
- At least 5 years of experience with OSAT, assembly, test, and back-end manufacturing processes.
- At least 8 years of experience in a regional role.
- Knowledge of SAP MM.
