AI Solutions Architect

Salary: $170,000–$320,000 base compensation annually

What you will do

• Design and validate AI/ML solution architectures aligned with product strategy, customer requirements, and scalability constraints.
• Partner with product management, engineering, and data science to turn AI capabilities into shipped features and customer value.
• Evaluate AI models, frameworks, and platforms, and lead build-versus-buy decisions.
• Build reference implementations and proof-of-concept solutions to reduce product roadmap risk.
• Lead technical design reviews, architecture governance, and development of AI system patterns and best practices.
• Define technical requirements and success metrics, and communicate architecture trade-offs to executives, customers, and other non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience architecting and shipping AI/ML solutions in production.
• Expertise in model evaluation, AI inference system design, and production challenges including latency, cost, reliability, and drift.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical architecture decisions across product, engineering, and business contexts.
• Strong systems-level thinking with the ability to assess accuracy, performance, maintainability, and operational cost trade-offs.
• Experience in early-to-growth-stage product teams or other fast-moving environments.
• Ability to scope ambiguous problems, define success metrics, and iterate with incomplete information.
